Geobiology course Winter term 2013

EARS 72/172:
Geobiology

Winter 2013: 10
Instructor: Jason Moore, Ph.D.
jason.r.moore@dartmouth.edu

The fossil record provides a unique opportunity to study the interactions of geology and biology in the past. In this course, using an existing but incompletely studied dataset, you will develop your own geobiological research hypotheses, learn the techniques and collect the data to test your hypotheses, interpret and write up your results. This course offers the opportunity for hands-on training in research in the Earth Sciences.
